Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial Period

All new subscriptions to Invoice Insight include a 7-day free trial period. During this trial, you have full access to all features included in your selected plan at no charge. You will not be billed until the trial period ends.

You may cancel your subscription at any time during the free trial without being charged. Your account will remain active until the end of the trial period.

2. Subscription Plans and Billing

Invoice Insight offers monthly and annual subscription plans:

  • Monthly Plans: Billed every month on the date you subscribed
  • Annual Plans: Billed once per year with a discount applied

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the paid period
  • You will retain access to all features until the subscription expires
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation for potential re-activation

Important: Cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period. Please review our refund policy below.

4. Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for your first subscription payment (excluding the free trial). If you are not satisfied with Invoice Insight within 30 days of your first payment, contact our support team for a full refund.

Subsequent Billing Periods

For billing periods after your initial subscription:

  • We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months or years
  • Unused portions of your subscription are non-refundable
  • Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for service outages or technical issues caused by Invoice Insight

Annual Subscription Refunds

Annual subscriptions are eligible for refunds within the first 30 days of the initial purchase. After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you may cancel to prevent future renewals.

Account Violations

No refunds will be provided if your account is terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team through:

Please include your account email, subscription details, and the reason for your refund request. We typically process refund requests within 5-10 business days.

6. Downgrading Your Plan

You may downgrade to a lower-tier plan at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will be charged the new rate on your next billing date.

No refunds or credits are provided for the difference between plans when downgrading. You will continue to have access to your current plan features until the billing period ends.

7. Upgrading Your Plan

When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan, the change takes effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period at the new plan rate, and your next full billing cycle will be at the upgraded plan price.

8. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our payment processor. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for refunds to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.

9. Failed Payments and Account Suspension

If a payment fails due to expired card details, insufficient funds, or other reasons:

  • We will attempt to process the payment again within 3-5 days
  • You will receive email notifications about failed payments
  • Your account may be suspended if payment is not received within 7 days
  • You can update your payment method in your account settings

10. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription prices. If we increase prices, we will provide you with at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect. Price changes will apply starting with your next billing cycle after the notice period.

If you do not agree to the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
